When we were first approached by Papa John's we were a little hesitant to take this client on. After all, we've never worked with a restaurant before. But after four weeks worth of media negotiations, creative press release ideas, event management tactics and a partnership with the MS Society of Connecticut, the Bloomfield store had one of the best grand openings in the Northeast to date.
We learned to take a chance on ourselves with this client. The lesson will forever be remembered: the same basic marketing and public relations principles apply to all companies and businesses, you just have to find a way to make the message shine.
And just maybe, in this case, the way to make the message shine was dancing pizza boxes...
If you're wondering what 4am looks like at a grand opening with franchise owner Larry this is it.
