A COASTAL WORK TRIP TO REMEMBER:BEHIND THE SCENES AT GLENMOOR BY THE SEA

Earlier this month, the Chikmedia team hit the road for a four-day work trip to the stunning coast of Maine, and I couldn’t wait to share a little behind-the-scenes look at our stay at Glenmoor by the Sea.

If you’re not familiar, Glenmoor by the Sea is a beautiful boutique resort nestled between Camden and Lincolnville, ME; think cozy coastal cottages, sweeping views of Penobscot Bay, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that instantly slows your heartbeat. But this wasn’t just a vacation, it was a content creation trip for one of our favorite clients.

Chikmedia is proud to be Glenmoor’s marketing agency, and this trip was all about capturing the heart and soul of the property through photo and video content. From drone footage of the bay at sunrise to lifestyle shots by the pool, we spent four days immersed in storytelling. The goal? To show future guests what makes Glenmoor such a magical, memory-making destination and spoiler alert: it wasn’t hard to do.

Our team stayed on-site in one of their waterfront cottages, and in the motel, and made the most of every golden hour. We shot everything from quiet morning coffee moments on the balcony, to impromptu s’mores sessions by the fire, to cozy interiors that scream coastal charm. 

Of course, being in such a picturesque spot, we carved out a little time to explore the area. Between content shoots, we popped around town for meals and a bit of local flavor at places like Aster & Rose, Lucky Betty’s and Paper Plane. 

This trip was a perfect blend of creativity, collaboration, and connection, not just with each other as a team, but with a place that truly lives up to the Maine magic. It’s always rewarding when work doesn’t feel like work, and Glenmoor made that easy.
