Congratulations To Our 2024 Chik of the Future: Brianna Chambers

We are thrilled to announce the winner of our fifth annual Chiks of the Future Scholarship! Thanks to the generosity of local business, Summerlin Floors, Chikmedia has awarded Brianna Chambers, student of Bay Path University, as the recipient of this year’s $1,000 Chiks of the Future Scholarship!

As a college student pursuing dual majors in Marketing and Business Administration at Bay Path University, winning the Chik of the Future Scholarship carries great significance for Brianna. This award represents more than simply financial assistance; it is an endorsement of Brianna’s commitment to creativity and leadership in the business world. This award validates her determination to shape the future of marketing strategies and business practices, empowering her to make meaningful contributions within the professional field. 

Brianna’s passion for creativity, innovation, and strategic communication align with Chikmedia’s service to their clientele. Brianna is a Marketing major with interest specifically in digital and social media marketing. Her goal is to gain a thorough understanding of market trends, develop expertise in analytics, and own the content creation across a variety of social media platforms. She aims to be the driving force in altering consumer behavior and encouraging brand interaction. Brianna hopes to create a positive legacy in the marketing field while continuing to learn and grow within a field that is ever-changing.

​“I am extremely thankful to everyone at Chikmedia for allowing me, among others, the opportunity to apply for the Chiks of the Future Scholarship,” said Scholarship recipient, Brianna Chambers. “This scholarship not only eases financial burdens but also fuels my ambition to excel, equipping me with resources to further my education and career aspirations. One of my Business Professors, Dr. Palmer, made me aware of this opportunity and for that I am forever grateful!”

​In 2020, during the Black Lives Matter movement, the Chikmedia team did a little digging into scholarship opportunities. They found that caucasian students received 72% of all scholarships, while minority students only receive 28%. Although a $1,000 scholarship doesn't close the large gap, they wanted to do their part in expanding available opportunities. They received an incredible number of applicants this year, all with impressive achievements and grand future goals. ​

“We started the scholarship to combat the racial injustices we saw in 2020 and aim to continue to honor it every year,” said Meghan Rothschild, President of Chikmedia. We continue to be grateful for the support we receive for this scholarship from our partner, Summerlin Floors, and are thrilled to award Brianna Chambers with this scholarship. We look forward to seeing what her future brings!”  ​
