Tell us a bit about your company! What do you do? What is your mission?
We Do Travel Right is a female owner Travel Agency. We help people from beginning to end plan and execute epic vacations that are easy and memorable. Our mission is to encourage families to "Take the Trip." We remove the stressful portions of vacation planning so people are able to enjoy their vacations in a meaningful way.

How did you get started with your business?
I started We Do Travel Right after blogging as We Do Disney Right over the pandemic. I realized that the restrictions on travel prohibited families from creating memories with one another. I started We Do Travel Right to help people take the leap and follow through with once imagined vacations with their families. I wanted to take those dreams of togetherness and make them a reality for people. My goal has always been to use my background as an award winning educator and seasoned traveler to ensure that families had a stress-free experience from beginning to end.

What do you feel is most important for others to know about your business?
Using a We Do Travel Right agent is 100% free to the consumer. Vendors build into the cost of every single vacation the use of a travel agent (so you are paying for one, regardless if you book through one!) Vendors such as Disney, Universal, Beaches, Disney Cruise, Royal Caribbean and beyond pay us to help you have an incredible vacation.

How would you describe your leadership style?
As a leader, I feel like I have a coaching style. I focus on my team and aim to cultivate relationships so I can assist in their development as an agent and community member. I cheer agents on, I give them constructive critisism, I mentor, I teach. Coaching has always been an effective leadership strategy for me as I am positive and intentional.

When you were growing up, what is your ultimate dream job? If it's this, how does it feel to have met your dream?! If it was something different, how did your dream change over time?
Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be an educator and a writer. I loved how words had the power to ignite feelings and teaching helped excite people about life and learning. I spent over 15 years teaching elementary, high school and college courses and opened We Do Travel Right in 2022. I get to spend each day using my excitement and words to teach others how to effectively travel and be a small part of facilitating memory creation.

Every business owner faces challenges. How are you empowered to overcome yours?
I listen and I have an open door policy. If we are facing challenges as a business, I express them to the We Do Travel team and listen. Everyone within our We Do Travel team has a voice. I love to hear new ideas and solutions from my team and use their feedback to make positive and productive changes.

Anything else we should know about you, your business, or just a fun fact?!
I grew up in Wilbraham, MA and taught in my hometown for 10 years. While there, I was awarded the Grinspoon Excellence in Teaching Award. We Do Travel Right has also earned high distinctions with many of our vendors. We Do Travel Right is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner as well as U-Preferred Gold with Universal, Sandals & Beaches Preferred Agency and Expedia Gold Agency.
