Last month I had the privilege of visiting Canna Provisions in Holyoke, MA. The store is absolutely beautiful: an experience, if you will. This is no “pot-shop,” it’s a fully immersive, stunning store where you can explore the often mysterious world of cannabis, all with the help of their friendly staff.
It’s clear Canna Provisions is the leading expert in their field, and that they’ve invested time and money into crafting an intentional shopping experience meant to make people feel at home. But how do you get people to a store when you can’t tell them about it?
That is one of the biggest challenges the Cannabis Industry faces; the archaic restrictions and policies set in place to regulate their external messaging. Even using the word “cannabis” on Instagram will get your account shutdown, even though it’s a legal recreational activity in 19 states.
We, as a marketing agency, continue to explore and keep an eye out for opportunities for this evolving industry, knowing that print and influencer marketing appear to be current, “approved” ways to promote. In the meantime, we highly recommend heading over to Canna Provisions to see what they’re all about. They offer a wide variety of products including CBD to help with many health concerns.

I don't do SEO (my focus is paid ads). But if I did do SEO, I would absolutely focus on the SEO for local CBD stores because you could absolutely crush it. The local search presence for most CBD businesses is absolutely atrocious. There are so many things you can do for these businesses that doesn't require alot of resources. I know there is a distinction b/w cannabis and CBD but there is also some overlap.
