COVID-19 & OUR EVENTS

In light of recent developments and public health concerns surrounding Covid-19, we wanted to touch base with you regarding our upcoming events, including Chiks' Night Out, Let's Get Social Workshop with Hardwick Winery, ChikFlick Screening, and more.

Please note we are continuously monitoring the latest guidance from reliable sources including the Massachusetts Governor's Office, Mass.gov, and national infectious disease specialists like the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

At this time, there are no major changes planned for any of our events, but be assured we will notify registrants immediately should circumstances change in any way.

While the events are not cancelled at this time, Chikmedia suggests the following actions as proactive and precautionary measures:

• Chikmedia advises anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness such as a cough or fever to stay home and not attend the event. 
• We are working with our venues to ensure that hand soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectants are readily available to attendees and venue staff. 
• We encourage attendees to consider alternate greetings outside of a standard handshake when networking and socializing – an elbow bump is a great option!
• Whether attending an event or not, Chikmedia always echoes the recommendations of the CDC:
  • Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Covering your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
