Tell us a bit about your company! What do you do? What is your mission?
Sweet Moments Ultrasound Studio is an elective ultrasound studio dedicated to expectant moms and families. We offer various types of ultrasounds, including 2D, 3D, 4D and gender packages. We also offer early gender DNA blood tests as early as 6 weeks of pregnancy for the families that just can't wait to know if their bundle of joy is a girl or a boy. The mission of Sweet Moments Ultrasound Studio is to provide parents and families with a special and intimate opportunity to bond with their baby before they are born. It's fascinating to catch a glimpse of their cute little nose, hands and feet and even watch them smile as they grow. We strive to make the experience both comfortable and enjoyable through excellent customer service and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

How did you get started with your business?
I've worked in the medical field for over 10 years and as a registered ultrasound technologist for over 6 years. After many years working in hospitals and private offices I wanted to build my own dream and create a better work-life balance. Starting my own business meant showcasing how natural delivering exceptional ultrasound services came to me. Capturing and celebrating the miracle of life with every family truly brings me joy.

What do you feel is most important for others to know about your business?
At Sweet Moments Ultrasound Studio we want others to know that we prioritize safety and we adhere to all medical guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our clients. In addition, we offer a variety of services to meet the unique needs of our clients. We understand that seeing their baby through elective ultrasounds is a special and emotional experience, and we aim to make it enjoyable and memorable.

How would you describe your leadership style?
Authentic, humble and trustworthy.

When you were growing up, what is your ultimate dream job? If it's this, how does it feel to have met your dream?! If it was something different, how did your dream change over time?
My ultimate dream job growing up was to become an elementary school teacher. I worked as a preschool teacher for many years in New York, where I'm from, before moving to Massachusetts. When I moved to Massachusetts I also worked at a preschool for about a year before my interests started to change towards the medical field. I graduated as a medical assistant but soon found that something was still missing. When pregnant with my first child, ultrasound really caught my interest and so my journey began.

Every business owner faces challenges. How are you empowered to overcome yours?
I remind myself every day that the sun shines for every one. Not every day is a good day but growing takes time and I try to always keep that in mind. My humbleness and desire to provide the best experience for every family that walks through our doors is what I know, one day, will make me stand out.
